My maternal great-grandfather, Dante Juan Civelli, was born in Lugano, Switzerland, in 1899, into a family of farmers from the renowned Swiss-Italian region. In 1920, at the age of 21, he emigrated to Argentina and settled in Mendoza. At that time, he was an agricultural entrepreneur and began acquiring land for farming. In addition, he ventured into the automotive business, opening a car agency in the heart of Mendoza. Over the years, he even became a Provincial Senator for the province of Mendoza.

His son, Alejandro Civelli, worked as a medical representative and decided to plant vines on the land acquired by my great-grandfather. In this way, we started our vineyards in the regions of Luján de Cuyo, Maipú, San Carlos and Tupungato approximately 35 years ago. Initially, we sold grapes to different wineries in Mendoza and we did not have our own project.

It was in 2016 when, with our construction company already established and my father being one of the most prominent haute couture designers in the province of Mendoza, we decided to take advantage of our vineyards to produce and make high-quality wines, with the intention of introducing them in the international market.

In 2018, we started our first harvest with a wine that aged in French and American oak barrels, which we called "Amor Desmedido". As of today, in March 2022, this wine is in the aging process in the winery, which led to the creation of two other brands, each with a unique character, called "Loren Qu" and "Siete Pasiones." ".

​Our wines are produced and made with our own grapes in a boutique winery in the city of Mendoza, located in Maipú, under the direction of Our winemaker. We have an exclusive space in this winery, where Quintana Wines has pools, stainless steel tanks and barrels for 1st and 2nd use.

Thus, Quintana Wines was born, a company founded by a father and a son, with the dream of bringing our high-quality boutique wines to the most demanding markets in the world.
